SteelSkin, the cabinet system, was conceived over three years ago by Chicago based Soupcan, Inc., and has been in development for the past several years.
Utilizing state of the art equipment, and cutting edge design and manufacturing principles, the line has expanded to include not only the new and improved Pure series, but our Hybrid and Green series as well.
This year, we combined forces with a 3rd generation precision metal manufacturing company located in the Chicagoland area to create SteelSkin, Inc.

SteelSkin is committed to providing only the highest quality alternative cabinet systems for our clients; our value engineered systems are unparalleled in the industry (e.g., our Pure series system carries a lifetime warranty!!!).
Our products are produced domestically, and assembled in our Chicago plant location, which equates to 1/2 the lead time over our International competitors (kitchens can be completely fabricated within 6-8 weeks) and shipped anywhere in the continental US within 1 week.
The line is available in standard configurations for both base and wall cabinetry, and includes pantry and tall cabinets as well. Standard sizes are available in 3" increments, starting at 12", and extending through 48" wide. Wall cabinets are available in 30", 36", and 42" heights.Custom sizes are also available for any of our cabinets. We welcome the opportunity to quote your projects, from 1 kitchen, to several hundred units for large scale developments.
